Natural Thinkers Assistant
Carmen has worked on the Natural Thinkers project for a year, supporting Jo and Jacqui to provide training online during the pandemic and, more recently, in person. During her time with Natural Thinkers, Carmen has enjoyed nurturing the relationships that the project builds with childcare and education settings, and developing ideas for family activities.
Carmen loves outdoor activities such as wild swimming but became interested in connecting children to nature through volunteering with a charity that takes children on holiday to the countryside to immerse them in the outdoors world.
David has worked in the charity sector for 20 years, on a range of both national and area based programmes. He has worked at NCB since 2008 which has included supporting the organisation’s business development function, and is the business lead for Natural Thinkers. He also has a passion for hiking and being in the outdoors, enjoying green spaces and wild terrains.
